Kaan Air orders an AW139 and an AW189

The contract expands the success of the AW139 in Turkey and marks the entrance of the AW189 in the Turkish market.

With this latest achievement the Company further expands its presence in the Turkish commercial helicopter market where the company has already sold more than 30 helicopters from the entire range of commercial products including the AW119, AW109 Power, Grand/GrandNew, AW169 and the AW139 finding relevant success particularly for VIP/corporate. With this latest sale the whole Family of new generation helicopters enters the Turkish market.

The bestselling helicopter in its category with a 56% share in the global market, the AW139 has become the benchmark platform for a wide range of operations. Over 200 customers from more than 60 countries have ordered almost 760 AW139 helicopters so far.

The AW189 was designed in response to the growing market demand for a versatile, multi-role super medium helicopter. The AW189’s large 11.2m3 cabin with four large cabin windows on each side provide a very spacious interior and excellent panoramic views for all passengers.
