Carsten Hernig, new managing director of Jettainer, and representatives from Abu Dhabi Airports took part in the ribbon cutting ceremony, celebrating the strong growth Jettainer achieved in the Middle East region by serving Etihad Airways.

Jettainer establishes offices at the customers’ international hubs in order to more efficiently communicate with the operative departments of the airlines in terms of managing pallets and containers for both passenger and cargo aircrafts.

Hernig said: “Due to the positive development we are facing in the Middle East and Asia regions, we decided to open a local office in Abu Dhabi in order to assure smooth operational processes at any time and of course to be ready for further growth with existing and potential new customers. We are expecting a huge potential in the whole Asia-Pacific region.”
