The move will allow Jetex, which has an FBO and office in Dubai, to expand its presence in Latin America. Customers operating in the region will benefit from the combination of Santiago FBO’s knowledge of the local marketplace and Jetex’s international trip planning expertise. As a fully integrated part of the Jetex global value chain, the Jetex branded FBO will offer the same level of services that customers have come to expect from the company – including a fully functional flight planning room.

Facilities at the FBO will include ground handling, private parking, catering, fueling services and a VIP Lounge.  Immigration and customs clearance will also be available onsite. Aircraft parking facilities include helicopter parking and 1400 square meters of hangar space.

“As Chile’s main international airport with a strong influx of business aviation flights, it is of strategic importance for Jetex to have a strong presence at Arturo Merino Benítez International Airport.” says Jetex Flight Support Business Development Manager for Latin America and the Caribbean, Diego Giamberini.  “By partnering with Santiago FBO we can use their local expertise and aviation instincts to further enhance Jetex’s expanding presence in the Latin American market. This will allow us to maximize service potential to our clientele and provide the flexible, tailored services they need when operating in the region. Moreover, it will be located in the host city for the final matches of the American Cup," said Giamberini

“We believe that strengthening our relationship with a globally recognised brand like Jetex allows us to enhance our synergies and catalyse our services,” said Santiago FBO’s Manager, Francisco Horn.
