Jet Aviation prepares to launch dispatch services from Dubai base

Jet Aviation is to expand its FBO services at Dubai to include dispatch services to support aircraft owners and operators with their day-to-day operational needs.

The General Dynamics subsidiary said it will add dispatch services to its range of 24/7 domestic and international handling services by the second quarter of 2012. Trained dispatch personnel will be on-site to provide round-the-clock dispatch services, including arrangement of overflight and landing permits, fuel purchasing, emission trading support and continuous monitoring.

Jet Aviation Dubai FBO Director Philippe Gerard (Pictured above, third from the left with his FBO team,   said, “Adding dispatch services to our portfolio helps meet our goal of fulfilling all of our customers’ provisioning needs under one roof.”

Peter Brändle, deputy general manager of the Jet Aviation’s aircraft management division in EMEA & Asia, added, “There is an increasing demand for dispatch services in the Middle East and extending our service delivery through the Dubai FBO allows us to better serve our customers based in Dubai and in the region.”

Meanwhile the company is also now offering maintenance services to Airbus ACJ owners and operators as its Dubai maintenance team has received OEM-led training and certification and all required tools will be in place by year’s end, the company said
