JATS holds First-Aid workshop

A non-aviation First-Aid workshop was recently held at JATS and was represented by officials of some of Jordan's premier companies and other governmental organisations. The attendees included the Ministry of Health, Public Security Directorate, Pharmacy One, King Abdullah ll Fund for Development, Social Security Corporation, Manaseer Group, Red Cross, Umniah, Zain, Abu Khader Group, Nielsen, Cozmo, Brinks Jordan and the Bristol Hotel, to name a few.

The goal of the workshop was to introduce and to raise awareness of the new Public First Aid and Safety Training Courses that JATS has added to their training offerings for the Jordanian market. The program was devised by a JATS committee and its instructors and it emphasized the most popular Non-Aviation First Aid and Safety Courses approved by JCARC (Jordan Civil Aviation Regulatory Commission).

During the workshop JATS General Manager, Amer Fakhoury, explained the need and importance for first aid programs in Jordan. This was followed by a demo/presentation of one of the First Aid Courses presented by senior instructor Maha Majali and Safety Public Presentation presented by JATS’ senior instructor, Bassam Zokha.
