IATP Conference takes place
The conference, sponsored by Perform Air International, Sterling Courier, AJ Walter and Air Canada, was attended by more than 400 Airline and Associate member representatives of the air transport industry.
IATP delegates exchanged their pooling activities on spare parts, line maintenance, equipment and aircraft recovery. The conference also offered good opportunities not only to learn more about the technical and operations latest and greatest but also to negotiate maintenance and services contracts. Over 1200 bilateral exchange meetings were scheduled through the enhanced meeting scheduler services.
The Line Maintenance delegates benefited from the newly-introduced Standard Ground Handling Agreement (SGHA) Training, which was very well attended.
As always, the attendees also enjoyed the different social events organized after the business days, enabling them to network and discuss industry matters.
The next IATP Conference will be held in Penang, Malaysia, from October 17 to 21, 2015 and will be fully sponsored by IATP.
