Our Client is the Aviation Division of this expanding Group and provides vital services in supply air logistics to remote sites in post conflict locations and remote areas.
 
They are currently seeking an HR Manager to be based at their regional service centre in Dubai.

Founded in 1957, our client has over 50 years of experience developing and operating customized supply chain and associated service solutions in demanding environments. Supported by a world-wide network of resources including state – of – the – art warehousing facilities, bulk fuel installations and real time freight tracking capabilities, our client provides workable resolutions to complex client requirements in the areas of food logistics, catering, retail, aviation, site services and fuel management.
 
Our Client is the Aviation Division of this expanding Group and provides vital services in supply air logistics to remote sites in post conflict locations and remote areas.
 
They are currently seeking an HR Manager to be based at their regional service centre in Dubai.
 
Reporting into the Managing Director for the Aviation Division, the successful candidate
Ensure that the Aviation Division has a developed and professional Human Resources department that provides timely and efficient service across all areas of HR.   To be fully responsible for the HR function within the Aviation division.
 
Participate in the strategic business objectives for the Aviation division; Set and achieve annual HR objectives;  Manage, lead and develop the Human Resources team members; Recruit and select suitable employees into the Aviation division;
 
Develop recruitment strategies and source new methods to attract candidates; Advise and facilitate remuneration reviews; Develop, implement and continually review the organisations polices and procedures; Provide feedback to the Corporate HR team regarding the development and review of HR policies and procedures;  
 
Work with the Learning and Development manager to facilitate employee development programs within the Aviation division; Provide HR reporting to key stakeholders; Provide leadership and support to managers and employees on performance management systems; Provide advice on succession planning for the Aviation division;
 
Develop a good working relationship within the Aviation division and other departments;
Contribute to the development of an effective HRIS; Provide timely and professional advice to managers and employees regarding HR issues; Provide a professional and efficient service to all Aviation’ employees;
 
Ensure the HR functions are consistent throughout the Aviation division and in line with the
Company’s HR aims and objectives; Conduct disciplinary, performance and personal counseling throughout the Aviation division;
 
Ensure compliance with Company policies and procedures; Ensure continual commitment to employee relations, including regular visits to the operational sites including Afghanistan.
 
Knowledge and Skills:
You will be an experienced Personnel or a HR specialist.
 
Fluent in written and spoken English. Strong attention to detail. Proven leadership abilities
Proven facilitation skills. Experience working with people at all levels of the organisation              
 
Local UAE experience in a HR role, Experience working in an international organization
 
Superb inter-personal skills and instant credibility are essential as you will be inter-facing with a number of people from different backgrounds, nationalities and religions.
 
You will be resourceful with a flexible outlook, have the ability to multi-task in order to handle competing priorities and be able to fit in to an international dynamic and multi-cultural environment.
 
Finally you should possess a Drivers License and have well developed pc skills in MS Office.
 
The basic salary is paid in AED (Dirhams) and is tax free for an Ex-Patriate employee. In addition there is a bonus earning opportunity which is also paid in AED (Dirhams) and tax free for an Ex-Patriate employee.
 
In addition you will receive 25 days holiday plus public holidays, health insurance and 1 paid return economy flight per year. Mobilization and De-Mobilization flights are also paid for by our client.
