Hamad International Airport unveils Qatar Airways' Al Mourjan lounge

As one of the largest lounges in the world, with 10,000 square metres of bespoke design features, Al Mourjan offers Qatar Airways’ Premium travellers unrivalled Qatari hospitality with its signature five-star service.

And for those looking to satisfy a hunger craving they can enjoy one of the many sumptuous dining options on offer, from light bites to seated dining in the mezzanine area. After enjoying a meal, passengers can also continue their journey through the mezzanine and enjoy the calm and serenity of the 15m x 7m infinity pool water feature which sits at the base of the spiral staircase, lit by a stunning four-tiered chandelier, to the second level of Al Mourjan. 

For those looking to relax, there is a wealth of options available to help passengers rejuvenate before their flight, from the private quiet rooms and relaxing family spaces, to the games rooms for children offering PlayStation pods and an F1 driving simulator. Added to this Al Mourjan also offers prayer rooms, restrooms, a smoking area, a nursery and shower rooms with free amenities. 

Qatar Airways’ Premium travellers can also avail of a dedicated business centre offering a conference area, personal internet workstations, or printers and scanners, all to ensure a smooth and seamless transition from the office to the passengers’ final destination. Multi-purpose executive seating is also available throughout the lounge with a private Flight Information Display System monitor and reading light, as well as personal power and data outlets. 

The Al Mourjan Business Lounge is open to Qatar Airways and oneworld First and Business Class passengers until the Al Safwa First Class Lounge opens as part of HIA’s phased development.
