Gulf Air chairman hosts media roundtable to mark airline's 2013 financial results

Gulf Air today welcomed H.E. Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of Gulf Air's Board of Directors for a tour of the airline's headquarters, met with leaders of the national carrier's unions, and hosted a media roundtable with representatives from the Kingdom's key publications.

Following a tour of the airline’s headquarters; the media roundtable saw Gulf Air’s executive management team sharing highlights of the national carrier’s key developments to date along with further details of the airline’s operations.  In addition, media representatives were given the opportunity to participate in an exclusive question and answer session. 

Launched in December 2012, Gulf Air’s 2013 restructuring strategy was led by the airline’s Board of Directors, chaired by H.E. Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister, and driven by the Executive Restructuring Committee and Gulf Air management. The strategic restructuring of the national carrier has put it firmly on-track towards achieving long-term commercial sustainability, strengthening its position as a key national infrastructure asset that provides business links which are important for the Kingdom’s wider economic development.
