Gulf Air cabin crew win recognition at ISPY 2014

Gulf Air recently saw two members of its senior cabin crew, representing the airline's duty free sales team, recognised at the 2014 Inflight Sales Person of the Year Conference (ISPY).

Gulf Air Ms Sandra Stojanovic and Ms Ewa Chachlowska were both awarded the Silver Medal for Sales Awareness and Maximising Sales Techniques.

Gulf Air chief operating officer, Mr. Nasser AlSalmi commented, “We are delighted to be recognised in this industry-wide event. Being awarded the Silver Medal in this prestigious category attests to Gulf Air crew members’ ability to work together as a team, to their dedication, commitment and their knowledge of inflight duty free services.”

The DFASS Group, the world’s largest inflight duty free specialty retailer, will work alongside Gulf Air in 2014 to implement the airline’s Flight Attendant Certification Program. This industry-changing programme will continue to build the centerpiece of the Gulf Air Sky Galleria around In-Flight.

This year’s event saw 100 of the world’s best selling cabin crew from 38 airlines, ten concessionaire and forty sponsor companies come together for five days of training, assessments, workshops, trade show and more.
