Gulf Air’s country manager for the UK, Rashid Abdulrahman AlGaoud, rewarded staff members with Appreciation Awards in a variety of categories including Employee of the Year, Most Efficient, Most Innovative and Most Service Oriented.

AlGaoud said: “This annual ceremony helps reinforce Gulf Air’s longstanding and ongoing commitment to promoting and celebrating those individual talents that, working collectively, help Bahrain’s national carrier realize its mission of enhancing and improving the passenger journey. I am delighted to see so many notable members of the Gulf Air UK team recognized today for their efforts.”

Gulf Air has had a strong presence in the United Kingdom since its first flight to London Heathrow in 1970. The airline’s double-daily nonstop flights between London and Bahrain are operated by newly refurbished Airbus A330 aircraft in a two-class configuration with 30 fully-flatbed Falcon Gold Class seats, 184 revamped Economy Class seats and a state-of-the-art in-flight-entertainment system throughout.
