GAL and Flight Safety International sign training deal

Abu Dhabi-based Global Aerospace Logistics (GAL) and FlightSafety International were at the Abu Dhabi Air Expo to sign a three-year agreement to provide training services for both VIP and search-and-rescue pilots.

GAL is a provider of professional aerospace services, encompassing aviation maintenance for rotary and fixed-wing aircraft; components and system overhaul/repair; aviation logistics; depot facility/MRO; air traffic control operations and management; aircraft trading and sales; defence and aviation consulting and project management; turnkey aerospace services and tactical pilot training.
FlightSafety International, meanwhile, provides more than a million hours of training each year to pilots, technicians, and other aviation professionals from 154 countries and independent territories. It operates the world’s largest fleet of advanced full-flight simulators at learning centres and training locations in the United States, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Japan, South Africa, the Netherlands, and the United Kingdom.
“FlightSafety is proud to have been selected by GAL to provide training for the Agusta Westland AW139,” said Steve Gross, vice president sales. “Their pilots will benefit from the training that our highly experienced and well qualified instructors provide using advanced full-flight simulators.”
