Farnborough Airport has unveiled its new terminal facilities for crew members and customers.

The £1 million refit is a continuation of the refurbishment started in 2006, and has seen all of the TAG management offices moved out of the terminal and into a separate building.

The new refit provides enhanced customer facilities such as a large lounge and a meeting room, as the airport is facing higher volume business flights, transporting up to 50 customers at a time.

As part of the refit, a gym has been installed for crew members as well as a bespoke snooze room, which uses a traffic light system to see how many people are occupying the room at one time.

Brandon O’Reilly, CEO, TAG Farnborough Airport, said: “We wanted to create better and enhanced customer facilities. If we go back in time this airport was created for aircraft that had up to 4 passengers, and what we’ve discovered there is emerging demand for high volume flights. We wanted lounge facilities to support that.”

TAG has also taken over a local pub, The Swan, as part of its hospitality offering. The pub has been modernised, and will be over seen by the Aviator.
