Etihad Airways is celebrating its fifth anniversary of service to Japan

Etihad Airways' vice president Asia Pacific North and the Indian Subcontinent, Craig Thomas, said the airline was delighted to celebrate the auspicious occasion with the industry partners who had contributed to its success in Japan.

“We owe a debt of gratitude to our travel trade partners for the strong support they have given Etihad Airways since it commenced services to Nagoya and Tokyo five years ago.

“The route has gone from strength to strength in that time, and we are delighted to have carried more than 732,000 guests and thousands of tonnes of cargo to and from Japan since the launch.

“Etihad Airways is deeply committed to the Japanese market and to ensuring that our industry partners share in our continuing success.”
