Etihad Airways honours UAE nationals upon their graduation

Etihad Airways honours a record number of UAE nationals as they graduate from the future leader program.

The graduating class consisted of 280 UAE nationals from a wide range of courses, including cadet pilots and graduates from the Sabre program.
 
The star performer awards were also handed out to Mohammad Ali (cadet pilot); Khalifa Al Hosani (cadet pilot – Abu Dhabi University); Jasim Al Hammadi (technical engineer); Al Shaimaa Al Ameri (graduate manager); and Ameena Al Marzouqi (Fursati).
 
Chief executive officer James Hogan emphasised the importance of training for the graduates: “Etihad Airways continues to invest in the training and development of UAE nationals and these Future Leaders will go on to play a key part in the supporting the long-term development of the airline.”
 
Etihad Airways offers 22 development programs that allow UAE national graduates to develop key skills and gain practical experience.
 
Etihas Airways employs 2,700 UAE nationals across its global business, with plans to employ 6,000 more by 2020.
