The Homeland Protectors discount card was launched to provide benefits across local companies and institutions to the affiliates of the Ministry of Defence and UAE Armed Forces. This includes those currently serving in the UAE military, civilian affiliates of the Ministry of Defence, as well as retirees and veterans.

His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, chairman and chief executive of Emirates Airline & Group, said: “We proudly support this initiative and are humbled by the selflessness of UAE Armed Forces and Military personnel that are serving and have served our country. It is our duty to recognise their service and we are committed to helping them connect to the rest of the world through our services.”

Emirates will offer affiliates of the Ministry of Defence and UAE Armed Forces personnel generous discounts on Emirates commercial tickets in all classes to destinations across its network. The airline will also offer discounts on Emirates Holidays packages and cargo.

The ‘Homeland Protectors’ privilege and discount card is recognised by companies and institutions registered with the armed forces and is given only to those who have spent at least six months in the military.
