Emirates reconsidering order for 70 A350s
Emirates Airlines president Tim Clark has told the Financial Times (FT) newspaper that the airline is reconsidering its order cancellation of 70 A350 XBW aircraft.
Earlier this month, the carrier decided to cancel the wide-bodied jets after carrying out a "fleet requirement review.”
Clark revealed to the FT the airline plans to directly compare the A350 with Boeing's 787 Dreamliner. "At the end of this year, beginning of next year, we will re-engage with Airbus on the A350. We will also engage with Boeing on the Dreamliner."
