Emirates Group signs MoU with Emirates Nationals Development Programme

The agreement was signed at the Emirates Group Headquarters by Amira Al Awadhi, Emirates’ Vice President – National Recruitment and Development and Essa Al Mulla, Chief of Emirates Nationals Development Programme. The signing ceremony was attended by Nasser Bin Kherbash, Emirates’ Divisional Senior Vice President, Human Resources Development and Employee Services, Zainab Al Zarouni, ENDP Corporate Relations Manager and senior representatives from both parties. 

“At the Emirates Group, we recognise that UAE Nationals are key contributors to the progress of our organisation. Since we’ve established our National Recruitment & Development Unit in the early nineties, we’ve worked hard to ensure Emiratis are well-positioned across different facets of the business,” said Amira Al Awadhi. “We aim to attract up to 5000 UAE Nationals by 2020 and our partnership with ENDP is the best approach to reach that goal,” she added.

The MoU sets specific recruitment targets each year through the exchange of information on applicants between the Emirates Group and ENDP. Using this information and through regular planning meetings, the team will develop mechanisms to implement the recruitment initiatives within the Emirates Group.
