Emirates Group raises UAE flag to mark Flag Day

The Emirates Group marked UAE Flag Day this morning by raising the flag outside of the Group's Headquarters. Sheikh Majid Al Mualla, Divisional Senior Vice President Commercial Operations, Centre for Emirates Airline hoisted the flag, with the UAE National Anthem playing in the background.

This annual ceremony at the Emirates Group is held in solidarity with HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice-President and Prime Minister and the Ruler of Dubai’s call to entities across the UAE to raise the flag to express their pride and allegiance to the country. 

Sheikh Majid Al Mualla said: “UAE Flag Day is an opportunity for entities and individuals across the country to honour their commitment to the UAE. Emirates Group employees are proud of the country’s achievements, and we look forward to contributing to the country’s dynamic future under the UAE’s visionary leaders. We are proud that staff of all different nationalities gathered today to participate in this occasion.”
