Emirates Aviation University honours more than 400 graduates

Emirates Aviation University has celebrated its 24th annual graduation ceremony, honouring more than 400 students.

Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, chairman and chief executive Emirates Airline and Group awarded degrees across multiple disciplines with hundreds of family and friends in attendance. 

The graduating class consisted of 131 students from the undergraduate programmes, 186 from vocational programmes, 85 from the postgraduate programmes, and 31 UAE National Higher Diploma graduates. Including this year’s number of students, the university has graduated more than 13,000 students since its inception in 1991. 

“The growing aviation industry in the UAE and the wider region has created a whole spectrum of jobs that demand continuing education and professional qualifications. The success of our programmes reflects this demand, and also the calibre of our education,” said Dr. Ahmad Al Ali, chancellor of Emirates Aviation University. “I would like to congratulate the graduates for this great achievement and wish them all the success in the exciting field of aviation.”
