EgyptAir to operate 855 international & domestic flights a week this summer

This summer, EgyptAir is to operate 855 flights with a frequency of 649 international flights and 206 domestic and regional flights.

"This year's summer schedule is stable in the frequency of flights, in comparison with last year's summer schedule. Operation schedules were reviewed and some modifications were made in this summer season 2014/2015, starting from March 29th until Oct 24,” said Capt. Hesham Elnahas, the Chairman and CEO of EgyptAir Airlines.   

He added: "The company is to operate 228 weekly flights to the Middle East, around 158 weekly flights to European cities, 111 weekly flights to Africa, 22 weekly flights to the Far East and 11 weekly flights to North America, while the number of flights from other Egyptian airports reached around 48 flights," he added. As for the domestic destinations operated by the airline from Cairo International Airport, 71 flights are to be operated to Sharm El-Sheikh, Hurgahda, Luxor, Aswan and Alexandria” 

Capt. Helmy Rezk, chairman and CEO of EgyptAir Express said: "The company is to operate 206 weekly flights in this summer: 61 flights from Cairo to Sharm El-Sheikh, 56 flights to Hurghada, 21 flights to Luxor, 28 flights to Aswan, nine flights to Abu Sembel, five flights to Suhag and four flights to Mersa Alam". 

In addition, the company is to operate seven weekly flights from Borg El-Arab, Alexandria to Sharm El-Sheikh and six flights to Hurghada, three flights from Alexandria to Beirut and two flights to Athens, in addition to four flights from Sharm El-Sheikh to Jeddah and Kuwait.
