“We are delighted to build on our long-term relationship with EgyptAir with this latest order,” said Robin Glover-Faure, president of commercial training solutions, part of L3 commercial aviation. “This cutting-edge system will ensure that their pilots receive training in one of the finest training devices in the world.”

“Our partnership with L3 supports EgyptAir’s fleet modernisation strategy, which requires an upgrade of our Training Academy’s simulation devices. This modern simulator is an important investment to serve EgyptAir’s new fleet,” said Captain Ahmed Adel, Chairman and CEO of EgyptAir Holding Company.

“The training and provision of high-quality pilots play a vital role in supporting our business. The new state-of-the-art device will complement the three L3 FFSs, which are already in operation and will support us in delivering our pilot training programmes. This will also allow us to provide high-quality, third-party simulator time to other customers in the region at our Cairo-based Training Academy,” added Captain Abdel-Hady El Shakanqiry, the Head of the EgyptAir Training Academy.
