The deal is valued at more than $205 million.
The contact for Global 5000 and Global 6000 aircraft – part of the largest ever business aircraft order ever which VistaJet made at NBAA last November – was signed at the show today.
“Having our engines and APUs on a JSSI maintenance programme is critical to VistaJet’s business model and adds another dimension of service to the standard maintenance programme,” said VistaJet’s chairman and founder Thomas Flohr.
VistaJet had already experienced the programme having had two Globals and an Agusta Westland helicopter enrolled with JSSI.
“This is the largest single enrollment for any hourly-cost maintenance programme that we are aware of,” said JSSI’s chief executive Neil Book.
JSSI’s Platinum deal includes coverage for both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, rental engines, supplemental lift, removal and replacement of engines , shipping and repair and replacement of life limited parts.
