Eaton Corporation will provide significant content on 84 new Boeing F-15SA fighter aircraft for the Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) in a purchase agreement announced between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the US Government. The deal also includes upgrades to the SA configuration for 70 F-15S fighter jets in the RSAF fleet.

Einar Johnson (above), vice president of Eaton’s Aerospace Group said: “Eaton is focusing our in-depth design and engineering capabilities on product enhancements that increase the safety, reliability and operational readiness of military fleets around the world.

“Our supplier relationship with Boeing is an excellent opportunity to extend F-15 production and promote the fighter’s continued competitiveness in the global military market.”

Eaton will supply products for F-15SA new builds and retrofits, including hydraulic valves, fuel valves, landing gear valves, boost and transfer pumps, and actuators. To meet Boeing’s updated specifications for the SA variant, Eaton engineers have upgraded switching valves to support the fighter’s new digital fly-by-wire flight control system.
