The World CSR Congress is an annual event launched in 2011 which aims to unite different corporations in order to spread the message of sustainable CSR and to make a difference to the community at large.  The event was attended by representatives from leading multinational corporations and pioneers in CSR from over 87 countries.

Dubai Duty Free’s executive vice chairman, Colm McLoughlin said: “We are happy to be recognised for our commitment in the field of corporate social responsibility and the importance of having a positive impact on the communities in which we operate. Dubai Duty Free will continue its commitment to integrating sustainability into our business model and further strengthening our CSR programmes.”

The Best Corporate Social Responsibility Practices was awarded to Dubai Duty Free for the operation’s significant impact on all its employees and other stakeholders, the local community, and its commitment to the protection of the environment.  This is the second time that Dubai Duty Free was presented with this award since 2014.
