dnata announces senior management change in Alpha Flight Group

dnata, part of the Emirates Group, has announced a senior management change at its in-flight catering business, Alpha Flight Group. Lionel Wilton, chief executive officer of Alpha has announced that he will hand over the reins with effect from 31 December 2013.

Wilton has enjoyed a successful senior management career with Alpha, spanning 38 years, the last five years as chief executive officer. 

Wilton has overseen numerous strategic developments of Alpha’s business , including the original  acquisition of  its  Australian business , the establishment of the company’s interests in the Middle East, the acquisition of Alpha by dnata in 2011 and played a key role in the creation of the UK Alpha LSG Joint Venture in 2012.
