He will be highlighting the importance of enhanced security to facilitate modern trade as well as the security challenges posed by an influx of tourism. In providing the best airport experience to its users and meeting the challenges of evolving security threats.

As the UAE government plans to invest heavily in aviation-related infrastructure development projects and the emerging markets airports are already earmarked $30 billion for boosting the security at their respective airports, this event will provide an opportunity for over 200 delegates from global aviation security and safety organizations to gather in Dubai to discuss about the challenges, issues, usage of technologies, threats, training, effective practices and meet prospective clients from the aviation security sector.

The event will be organized at Le Meridien Hotel at the Airport Road in Dubai from November 26 to 27 2014 by Arabian Reach FZE LLC, where more than 30 global companies will showcase the latest equipment, technologies and demonstrate their capacities and capabilities to support the aviation security.

“Dubai’s strategic position as a trading hub and especially as a connector between Asian and African markets requires vigilant security processes for trade to take place without facing any difficulties,” pointed out Brigadier Ali Atiq Bin Lahej. “Alongside the growth of business activities, there has been a great increase in Dubai’s tourism traffic so we must follow protocols and maintain security measures. In these challenging times of evolving security threats, it is important to adapt and maintain the highest levels of security.”

“We look forward to welcoming professionals from all over the world to share their experiences, knowledge and technology which will not only enhance the safety and security of the aviation industry here, but will foster global aviation synergy. The emerging markets will play an instrumental role in the further development of global commerce and will be hugely benefited by a stronger aviation industry,” said Brigadier Ali Atiq bin Lahej.
