The award for Best Performing Aircraft Operator this year went to German Air Ambulance Specialist and VVIP-Jet-Operator Flight-Ambulance-International (FAI) rent-a-jet AG. FAI selected Al Bateen Executive Airport as its Middle Eastern preferred stopover airport due to its ability to best meet increasing client demand from the region.

Falcon Aviation Services received the ‘Best Support Company to Dhabi Jet’ award for their continued commitment to delivering the highest level of aviation services, establishing benchmark standards in terms of safety, quality and customer service.

Rotana Jet was awarded the ‘Fastest Growing Airline’ at Al Bateen Executive Airport, with their incoming and outgoing traffic increasing 260 % over the past year.

JETEX, whose services include aircraft fuel nominations, weather services and trip planning were awarded ‘Handling Company of the Year’ as a result of their dedication to providing clients with top quality service.

DhabiJet launched in 2011 and within the first two years of operation the new FBO was ranked in the top five best FBO’s around the world twice by the European Business Aviation News (EBAN).

Tony Douglas, chief executive officer of Abu Dhabi Airports, said: “Through investments in infrastructure, and enhanced customer service, Al Bateen Executive Airport is working to ensure it remains the airport of choice for private jet operations in the Middle East. This can only be achieved by the support of the service providers located here in Al Bateen. We are looking forward to further collective success with all our partners.”
