DC Aviation has announced it has successfully completed IATA'S Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) – usually considered as the quality standard for commercial airlines.

With the successful completion of the audit, the company becomes one of only eight business jet operators worldwide to receive this certification. The IOSA audit reviews the operational safety and quality assurance of an airline’s operational management and control systems. IOSA-registered airlines are transparent in their processes and verifiably guarantee the highest safety standards.

“Our goal is to exceed domestic and international regulatory quality and safety requirements,” said Michael Kuhn, managing director of DC Aviation. “The IOSA standard is the leading and most sophisticated audit available,” he added.

Holger Ostheimer, general manager of the joint venture between DC Aviation and Al-Futtaim said: “For years, many scheduled and charter airlines have considered this audit to be a general standard requirement, though this is not the case for business jet operators. The successful completion of this certification clearly indicates the mission of DC Aviation’s operations in Dubai to provide the highest levels of services to its customers.”
