DC Aviation Al-Futtaim appoints Paul van der Blom as director commercial

DC Aviation Al-Futtaim (DCAF) has announced the appointment of Paul van der Blom as director commercial.

Paul is based at DCAF’s headquarters at Dubai World Central and will oversee the commercial aspects of Aircraft Management, Aircraft Charter, FBO Handling and MRO technical sales for the company.

Previously, Paul worked at Airbus in Toulouse (both in the airliner and in the Corporate Jet divisions), Goodrich Aerospace Europe, TAG Aviation in Geneva, Avolus plus ExecuJet in Dubai, and finally Hawker Pacific in Singapore in which role he also dealt with the Chinese business aviation market. 

A Dutch national, Paul holds a Master’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering from Delft University in the Netherlands and has also attended various management programs at IMD, Lausanne, Switzerland.
