Dassault Aviation introduced the "Falcon Select II"

The upgrade, “Falcon Select II”, will provide operational benefits such as an enhanced air traffic management capability with features including ADS-B Out, FANS 1/A, and LPV.

 

LCD displays will replace existing Cathode Ray Tube Flight displays that will provide electronic moving maps, electronic charts and XM weather maps.

 

Jacques Chauvet, senior vice president of Worldwide Customer Service, said: “With Falcon Select II, a large portion of our older fleet can now take advantage of Next-Gen technologies, which enhance situational awareness and operational capabilities.”

 

It is hoped that the upgrade will be available to install by the first quarter of 2016.
