CEO of Air Arabia to give keynote address at GATE

Gulf Aviation Training Event, taking place 13 November 2017 within the Dubai Airshow, has announced that Adel Ali, CEO of Air Arabia, will be giving the keynote address at the conference.

In addition to being the Group Chief Executive Officer of Air Arabia, Ali is also the chairman of Alpha Aviation Academy and Cozmo Travel. A board member of Sharjah Aviation Services;  he also sits on the board of Air Arabia (Maroc), based in Casablanca’s Mohamed V International Airport and Air Arabia (Egypt), based in Alexandria’s Burj Al Arab International Airport.

“Adel Ali has a reputation for being at the forefront of the development of modern aviation,” said Michele van Akelijen, Managing Director of organisers F&E LLC Middle East. “His experience will bring value to his keynote address that will be invaluable to those attending the GATE conference.”

IATA has previously stated that the aviation industry in fast-growing regions, such as the Middle East, are now coming under increasing pressure to source the personnel to maintain its expansion plans.

The conference, now in its fourth edition, aims to bring together senior representatives from airlines and training academies to address the most current challenges and opportunities for the whole spectrum of the aviation training market in the Middle East. In addition to pilot training, the agenda for 2017 has been expanded to include focus on maintenance and crew training.
