Bird hits EgyptAir plane landing at London's Heathrow Airport
An EgyptAir Boeing 737-800 passenger plane collided with a large bird yesterday, causing a hole in the planes fuselage as it came in to land at Heathrow Airport in London, reports The Independent.
The EgyptAir flight from Cairo was grounded for 21 hours after the incident before a replacement nose could be located.
