BIAS 2020: Celebrating a decade of success at the Gateway to the Gulf

BIAS is an established event in the aerospace calendar, already seven of the world’s top ten aerospace businesses have confirmed their presence at the 2020 show. Work is currently underway on a major programme of capital investment on facilities across the site at the Sakhir Airbase to upgrade the show’s infrastructure with the aim of maintaining its five star offering to clients.  This includes reconfiguring the exhibition hall to increase footfall and provide greater exposure for the wealth leading aerospace companies exhibiting in this part of the show as well as a refurbishment of all the business chalets.

Plans are underway to ensure even more trade visitors attend BIAS2020. Show features and zones will be relevant, insightful and reflect the innovation driving industry. Urban Air, Space and counter-drone technology are to form major parts of the show as Bahrain looks to focus on the exciting technological advancements within these aerospace sub-sectors.

The Bahrain International Airshow will continue to host a comprehensive Delegations Programme, putting businesses in touch with key decision makers from both civil and military sectors. One of the show’s stand out offerings, 2020 will see an enhanced programme with more opportunities for business. 

The show’s conference programme provides meaningful and engaging content for visitors and exhibitors. 2020 will see the return of the Women in Aviation Conference and the BIAS Farnborough International News Network (FINN) briefings and seminar sessions providing a platform for knowledge sharing and interaction.
