Aviation Link Saudi Arabia receives first BBJ 777-200LR by Amac Aerospace

Aviation Link Saudi Arabia has taken delivery of the first BBJ 777-200LR to be completed for a private customer in the Middle East by Switzerland-based Amac Aerospace, reports Saudi Gazette.

The delivery was completed from Amac’s facility in Basel following the conclusion of 19 months’ completion work, involving more than a combined 500,000 man-hours. 

Bernd Schramm, Amac Group chief operating officer, said: “The principal set very high standards for this elegant interior.  We are extremely pleased we were able to meet the demanding and challenging requirements specified. 

“Amac is proud that again we were able to re-deliver our first wide body completion project in time and on budget to the highest satisfaction of our customer.”
