The event will take place 10-11 May 2015 in Dubai, UAE.

It has just received Official Patronage from HH Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, Chairman Dubai Airports, Chairman & CEO of Emirates Group.  A vote of confidence for a new event.

There is also support coming from the largest aviation association in Africa – AFRAA – African Airlines Association.  The Secretary General of the Association Elijah Chingosho commented on this new venture “AFRAA appreciates the good work that African Aerospace is doing to enhance knowledge of the various developments taking place in Africa and your professional coverage of our events. We value our partnership and are keen to see it growing”.

Aviation Africa 2015 has been launched to change the perception of African aviation. Speakers will include airline leaders, government ministers and the heads of civil aviation authorities.  Delegates are already signing up from government, airports, financial houses and airlines from both the Middle East and Africa.

Why Dubai?  The world's global hub is currently the best placed city to host this event.  The home of “open skies”, with more routes into Africa than African countries themselves and visa regulations that make it easier for African Nationals to meet.
