AAC is a subsidiary of the Dubai-based DAE through its StandardAero business. It delivers large aircraft completions, such as Boeing business jets or Airbus ACJs from its headquarters in Dallas, Texas.

The certificate renewal shows that AAC is in compliance with all regulatory requirements for accomplishing and approving Supplemental Type Certificates (STC) modifications on UAE registered aircraft.
“This accomplishment reflects the continued expansion of our global footprint as a world class VVIP completions centre,” said Chris Schechter, vice president & general manager of AAC. “By renewing our DOA Certificate, the GCAA is expressing its confidence in us to ensure the continued adherence to their design modification compliance standards.”
The significance of AAC’s renewed presence in the European, Asian and Middle-Eastern markets was reiterated by Patricio Altuna, executive vice president, sales & marketing who cited recent news involving multiple foreign repair station approvals. “The advocacy of AAC as a global provider of choice is being demonstrated throughout the global markets on an increasing basis as just last month we announced authorised repair station status among the civil aviation agencies of four governments in Africa, the Middle East and China,” Altuna said.
