Aseman Airlines ends B727 passenger operations
Iran’s Aseman Airlines as ended B727-200 passenger operations after EP-ASB conducted its last revenue service on January 13, 2019, reports ch-aviation.
EP-ASB's retirement marks the near-end of B727 civilian scheduled passenger operations across the globe. Mahfooz Aviation (Gambia) has also operated B727-200s in the past although the status of its only remaining aircraft of the type, C5-SBM, is unknown.
