Posted on 1 March 2010 in Maintenance

Libyan carrier Buraq Air has selected A J Walter Aviation, to provide power-by-the-hour support for an additional two B737-400 aircraft in its fleet. This five year deal is a further vote of confidence in AJW who already supports the airline's two B737-800 aircraft with more on order.

Founded in 2001 Buraq Air was the first private airline in Libya based at Tripoli International Airport with scheduled services to Europe, North Africa and the Middle-East.  It also operates passenger and cargo charter services and flights in support of the oil industry.
