Libyan carrier Buraq Air has again selected A J Walter Aviation to provide power-by-the-hour (PBH) support for an additional two B737- 400 aircraft in its fleet. This three year deal is additional to the airline's two B737-800 aircraft already supported by the UK firm.
Founded in 2001, Buraq Air was the first private airline in Libya based at Tripoli International Airport with scheduled services to Europe, North Africa and the Middle-East. It also operates passenger and cargo charter services and flights in support of the oil industry.
A spokeman for AJ Walter said the new contract underlines the “outstanding value for money and excellent customer service “ embodied within AJW PBH arrangements.
