The latest version provides a host of document management functions that simplify flight-planning needs by putting important information at a pilot’s fingertips.

The 3.0 release includes an ARINC Direct website component that allows pilots to schedule documents for upload, and a component which gives users access to all of their files on iPads and on the web.  Documents can be assigned to a specific leg, aircraft or user and can also be copied from one location to another. The folders for the aircraft, users and legs are automatically created so that pilots can easily drop documents where they belong putting all of the information needed for a flight in one convenient, easily accessed location.

“Arinc Direct strives to provide innovative flight support solutions for the business aviation market,” said Bob Richard, vice president of Arinc Direct. “This latest version of our iPad application is another example of how we respond to our customer requirements for a cost-effective, simple and seamless user experience.”

He added: “Information on the flight deck for pilots and version 3.0 is a major step forward in getting our customers there.”

The Arinc Direct iPad application is now available in the Apple App Store.
