The three-day event at Al Bateen – the specialist business aviation airport in the UAE – celebrates the whole of general aviation from microlights to business jets and helicopters.

Its first show was a great success a year ago. Based on the general aviation event in Cannes, south of France, The Abu Dhabi Air Expo saw experienced aviation companies enjoying a festival atmosphere in the sun.
With all of the major players expected at the event, Arabian Aerospace – published by the Times Group – was delighted to be invited to produce its successful Show Business newspaper.

“The debut show was outstanding,” said publisher Mark Brown. “This is very different from other events in the region and is taking an important niche in the market. Arabian Aerospace has worked hard to support all aspects of the aerospace industry across the Middle East and North Africa and we believe that our presence with Show Business will enhance the show experience but also bring us closer to the companies in the general aviation field.”
The deal between Arabian Aerospace and show organisers Adone calls for three issues of the newspaper. It will be edited by Alan Peaford and the team will include business aviation editor Liz Moscrop, aircraft interiors editor Ella Nethersole and news editor Steve Knight.
“We will also have our top design and photographic people at the event so I hope people at the show will make the most of the publication – and those that are not going will be able to keep up with events at Abu Dhabi through our online editions.”
