AOG situation leades AlMasria to French-Dutch MRO partnership
Egyptian carrier AlMasria Universal Airlines has called on the services of AFI KLM E&M to deal with an AOG (Aircraft on Ground) situation concerning CFM56-5B engines fitted to one of its aircraft.
AFI KLM E&M came up with an adaptive maintenance solution tailored to the situation which included organising the lease of two spare engines and a shop visit for the two faulty engines.
Hassan Aziz, President and CEO of AlMasria Universal Airlines, hailed "the availability and responsiveness of AFI KLM E&M's technical support team, who adapted to our requirements, especially with respect to lead-times and implementation."
Fabrice Defrance, AFI KLM E&M Senior Vice-President, Commercial, said he was delighted with the "opportunity to serve a new Egyptian client. “We are honored by the trust shown by a reliable and dynamic young airline like AlMasria Universal Airlines. This is a fine opportunity for the AFI KLM E&M brand to shine even more and bolster its network of clients and partners throughout the region," he said.
