AMAC Aerospace successfully installs 4K cabin monitors on B737-800

AMAC Aerospace Switzerland AG has successfully returned to service a privately owned B737-800 aircraft, which was handed to the facility in Basel, Switzerland, by an undisclosed customer for a heavy base maintenance check, which also included modifications.

Various cabin modifications have been carried out by AMAC as among others, the installation of a new, tale mounted external camera and the installation of new cabin monitors. With the successful replacement of HD monitors with 4K cabin monitors and the installation of a 4K capable Flight Information System, AMAC is proud to announce, that it is the first completion centre that has ever installed 4K cabin monitors in an aircraft. 

All modifications have been performed during the scheduled maintenance input without any additional ground time to meet the customer’s operational requirements by minimizing operational costs. 

AMAC Aerospace received Part 145 rating for the Airbus A310 series

AMAC Aerospace Switzerland AG has expanded its maintenance approvals through the newly received Part 145 rating for the Airbus A310 series. This achievement allows AMAC to further extend its maintenance portfolio as well as to demonstrate its expertise and outstanding experience in maintenance and cabin refurbishment work now also on A310 aircraft. 

“This is a further step forward for the maintenance organization within AMAC and we are proud to have received another Part 145 approval, this time for the Airbus A310 aircraft type. This will give us the opportunity to extend our range of services, particularly maintenance checks to A310 commercial, airline and VIP operators worldwide,” said Eric Hoegen, sales and key account manager, AMAC Aerospace Switzerland AG.
