The two partners signed an agreement at the MEBA show in Dubai to cover support for repairs and access to a spares pool for Alpha Star’s four A320 family aircraft and its A340.
The fourth A320 joined the fleet earlier this year and prompted the amendment. That deal extended the scope of the support and increased the number of components handled, to 650.
“AFI KLM E&M has been fortunate in having been able to provide support for Alpha Star Aviation Services since it was set up in 2010, and to nurture a strong relationship”, said Fabrice Defrance, Senior Vice President Commercial AFI KLM E&M.”
Alpha Star Aviation Services CEO Salem A. Al Muzaini said: “Our luxury airline give high importance to the quality of the services proposed and delivered, especially as regards AOG. For us, developing our relationship with AFI KLM E&M guarantees that we will enjoy reliable, efficient support in our operations and in operating this latest aircraft.”
