Qureshi said: “We welcome you to join the world’s largest annual airport exhibition, Airport Show, and become a part of the Middle East, Africa and South Asia region’s future role as the world's travel hub. As Airport Show and its co-located events draw nearer we will keep you updated with event developments and bring you regional industry insights through our upcoming series of newsletters.

The global airport industry has continued its solid growth curve with the Middle East as one of its fastest growing markets. There is airport construction activity globally to the value of approximately $415 billion, according to the CAPA Airport Construction and CapEx database, while approximately $40 billion is being invested on airport developments in the six Arabian Gulf Cooperation Council (AGCC) states alone, according to an IATA report. Airport Show 2015 will focus on the $100 billion regional airport developments across the GCC, Middle East and South Asia, with decision-makers utilizing the event to explore new technologies and meet their procurement requirements, thereby offering immense business prospects for global industry suppliers.

Airport Show and its co-located events will continue to be the ideal networking platform and annual meeting place for global suppliers, manufacturers and solution providers to meet and do business with key airport managers and decision-makers from the region.

We will send you the first of our 2015 e-newsletters shortly. We hope you enjoy it and we would be pleased to hear your feedback on issues of interest you would like us to cover in future editions. I also look forward to seeing you at the 15th edition of Airport Show in Dubai from the 10th12th of May 2015.
