“We are delighted to have been chosen by Saudi Arabian Airlines to fabricate and install cabin service trainers and related products which is an acknowledgement of our consultation and manufacturing expertise in this specialized field. This enhanced training approach will permit Saudi Arabian Airlines to continue improving their services while simultaneously reducing cost without compromising standards in any way,” said Mark Kammer, general manager.

Cabin service trainers are fixed base 1:1 working scale replicas of aircraft including seating, overhead stowage bins, interior and exterior graphics and functional galley equipment making them virtually indistinguishable from the actual carrier’s fleet of aircraft. They create an accurate realistic training environment in which cabin crew can be professionally trained in all aspects of modern in-flight services.

The realism of the Cabin Service Trainers enables the cabin crew to internalize knowledge by applying new or honing old skills in a risk-free and controlled environment.

Alubat’s Cabin Service Trainers are manufactured from state of the art composite materials and aluminium similar to next generation aircraft.

“Alubat’s close geographic location and their ability to provide consultation according to our needs is a real benefit for Saudi Arabian Airlines. We have ordered cabin service trainers for our Airbus A320, A330 as well as Boeing B 777, B 747 upper and lower deck, B 787 and Embraer E170 aircraft. As an additional challenge it will be necessary to install these on the 6th floor of our new in-flight service training centre in Jeddah. Alubat’s proven track record and engineering expertise gives us peace of mind that we will be receiving state of the art cabin service trainers,” said Amin Ghabra, general manager of in-flight services support at Saudi Arabian Airlines.
