Aer Lingus selects Mercator's RAPID Passenger Revenue Accounting Solution

Dubai based Mercator has announced that Aer Lingus Group has selected Mercator's RAPID Passenger solution to accelerate Aer Lingus' automation and optimisation of passenger revenue accounting.

With a fleet of 50 aircraft and over 11 million passengers in 2014 (including Aer Lingus Regional franchise operations), Aer Lingus’ mission is to connect Ireland with the world and the world to Ireland by offering its customers the best product in the Irish airline market at the most competitive fares. Aer Lingus decided to replace its existing in-house passenger revenue accounting system with RAPID Passenger to facilitate greater operational efficiency, maximize productivity, integrate revenue accounting information with other management information systems and provide meaningful business insights.

 

The implementation of RAPID Passenger will enable Aer Lingus to scale and automate its revenue accounting processes, achieve high accuracy in proration, tax and interline revenue management and meet stringent auditing and industry standards.
