ADAE 2014: GCAA signs open skies agreement with Hungary

Abu Dhabi's General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) has signed an open skies agreement with Hungary at the Abu Dhabi Air Expo.

The agreement will help airlines to plan operations between the two countries with fewer obstructions.

Saif Alsuwaidi, GCAA director general, said Abu Dhabi now has a total of 87 open skies agreements. “We need to have these types of agreements in place,” he said. “A constitutional process will now start, but both countries’ airlines will be able to take advantage of the agreement straight way.”
