The certification is the international benchmark of good practice in Business Continuity Management and recognizes the steps that Abu Dhabi Airports has taken to implement processes, which will provide continuity of its operations during disruptive events.

It was awarded to Abu Dhabi Airports’ Risk Management and Operations teams following an external audit of the management system. “The ISO 22301 certification demonstrates that the business continuity system in place at Abu Dhabi International Airport is of the highest standard and that the airport is prepared for and able to continue its operations in the event of any disruption,” said Ahmad Al Haddabi, chief operations officer, Abu Dhabi Airports.

“This achievement highlights Abu Dhabi Airports’ commitment to support the Abu Dhabi government’s endeavour to achieve excellence in all its businesses and services,” he added.
